Roles and Responsibility: • Coordinate and manage project design, production, and documentation at all project phases (Pre-Design through Construction Administration • Produce and comprehend architectural redlines and efficiently produce documents and revisions. • Clearly organize drawing sets for Planning/ Development, Design Reviews, and Building Department Submittals • Oversee quality control and ensure compliance with project scope and budget. • Coordinate design consultants and oversee architectural team. • Effectively Manage Construction Administration • Organize, direct and manage a team effectively • Ability to manage multiple projects and communications with clients. Skills and Experience • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture • 7+ years' experience; local experience ideal • Strong organizational and communications skills • Ability to lead and manage a team • Experience with Local Jurisdictions Approval and Permitting processes. • Proficiency in AutoCAD & Revit, Acrobat, and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Highly motivated, positive and ability to problem solve. • Ability to create strong professional relationships. The Job Captain will help oversee the project team and report directly to the Project Manager. They will ensure that the team stays on schedule and that the project conforms to the requirements of the Project Manager. In their supervisory role, the Job Captain will also review drawings with the rest of the architectural and consultant teams, suggests revisions and have the team update designs on those suggestions.
