Are you curious about what makes an AIA Fellow? \nAn AIA Fellowship is the second highest honor that the American Institute of Architects can bestow upon an individual member. The highest honor of course is the Gold Medal. Fellows are recognized for their exceptional work and contributions to the profession of architecture or society. Architects who have made significant contributions and who demonstrate their impact in the profession or to society will be elevated to Fellow; roughly three percent of AIA members are elevated to Fellow.
