SUMMARY:Design Awards Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:The Santa Barbara Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) conducts an annual juried Design Awards Program to honor architectural work. Entries were submitted in the following categories: Commercial Buildings; Single Family Residential; Mixed Use and Multi-Family Residential; Conservation Projects: Historic Preservation\, Restoration\, Rehabilitation or Reconstruction; Santa Barbara Heritage (Residential and Commercial Projects); Small Projects; Commercial Interiors; Residential Interiors; Proposed/Unbuilt Project. A select jury of three distinguished architects from outside Santa Barbara considered 3 levels of recognition for the submitted projects\, Honorable Mention\, Merit Designation and Honor Award. \nSubmissions of the 2024 Design Awards will be exhibited at Channing Peake Gallery\, February 6th through April 29th\, 2025.  \nThe gallery is open Monday – Friday\, 8AM – 5 PM \nView award recipients here. \n
