As California moves further into reopening, architects and design professionals face some unique issues. Navigating a return to work (or a return to the office or job site) raises questions about job safety, health department compliance, and legal concerns regarding remote work, employer/employee relationships, independent contractor status, and new state and federal leave laws. Naomi Dewey of Trusted Legal will speak to members on these topics and also guide participants through online resources and self-help materials for those who are not in a position to hire an attorney.
