Lunchtime learning: 3-D Robotics Construction Technology: Trail-blazing Affordable Housing Solutions

Learning Objectives: Webinar participants will receive an overview of Santa Barbara County’s critical affordable housing needs and an understanding of why we need a paradigm shift in how we produce affordable housing. They will learn how 3-D robotics construction technology works and its potential for quickly and cost-effectively creating a range of affordable housing types. They will learn about the prototype 3-D printed affordable home project jointly sponsored by the Housing Trust Fund of Santa Barbara County and Apis Cor. They will learn how architects interface with this innovative new technology.
