Join us for a tour led by Bryan Boyd of Giffin & Crane The Shoreline Residence project has been a stimulating design assignment where we were tasked with a stringent flagpole site configuration, very close neighbors, a coastal beach bluff and a client invitation to create a “jewel box” worthy of the glorious setting.
In this course, you’ll learn about the importance of residential shading. You’ll also gain a better understanding of the differences between motorized and manual shading, the importance of fabric characteristics and how it plays into the performance of shading fabric, and discover how automated shading systems maximize daylighting.
