Location: Santa Barbara + Los Angeles Studios
Position Type: Full-Time, In-Studio
Schedule: 40 hours/week

Position Overview
We are seeking a Project Architect who brings strong design capability, technical excellence, and elevated leadership presence. This role requires a professional who can confidently guide projects from conceptual development through construction, inspire project teams, and uphold the artistic and cultural ambitions of our work. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative studio, embraces accountability, and demonstrates maturity in both design thinking and team coordination.

· Ability to coordinate complex consultant teams while maintaining project clarity & momentum.

Key Responsibilities
· Lead projects from conceptual design through Construction Administration.
· Develop design concepts, diagrams, presentation materials, and DRB-ready content.
· Manage consultant coordination across complex project types.
· Produce and oversee high-quality construction documents.
· Conduct CA tasks including site visits, RFIs, submittals, and field reports.
· Present work to clients, city agencies, and community stakeholders.

Experience & Qualifications
· Licensed Architect—or on the path to licensure.
· 7+ years professional experience (preferred).
· Experience as Project Architect on medium or larger-scale work.
· Strong understanding of building codes and permitting processes.
· Experience leading projects from concept through CA.
· Proficiency in Revit, InDesign, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite.
· Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
· Portfolio demonstrating strong design ability and artistic judgment.
