Each entry was judged on its own merit and evaluated for design resolution, contextualism and innovation. With criteria to demonstrate exemplary skill in resolving formal, functional, and technical requirements, entrants were challenged to achieve successful sensitivity and response to its surrounding community incorporating innovations in building materials and techniques if possible.
