Our chapter’s dedicated staff plays a vital role in the success of our events and programs. Thanks to their tireless efforts, we are able to create new opportunities for connection, strengthen our community network, and advocate for the issues that matter most to our members. Our team provides invaluable support to all of AIA Santa Barbara’s committees and offers assistance to members as needed.
Ivonne Schley is honored to serve as the Executive Director of AIASB. Originally from Los Angeles, Ivonne has called Santa Barbara home for 22 years. She began her career in real estate marketing in 2015 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Media Studies from UC Santa Barbara, along with marketing studies at the University of London. Ivonne’s passion for architecture is central to her work, and she is deeply committed to furthering AIA’s mission. She believes that thoughtful design, balancing both form and function, has the power to enrich communities and transform how we engage with the spaces around us.
Ally Fuller is the assistant to the Executive Director. Ally is set to graduate with a BA in Economics and History of Art and Architecture from UCSB in June 2025. She plans to pursue a career that integrates economics, business, and design.
