| DMHA Architecture + Interiors is growing and looking for a Project Architect for our growing firm in Santa Barbara, California.
We are seeking an experienced Architect to help provide leadership in all facets of design with a strong background in architecture, art, and multiple building typologies. This includes, but is not limited to master planning, building design, detail design, and a solid understanding of how buildings are constructed. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, have experience directing staff, with a degree in Architecture and (7) or more years of experience. Drawing and sketching skills, both by hand and on the computer are required. As an integral part of our firm, the individual will work both independently and collaboratively within the project team. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential. Proficiency with developing drawings in Revit and rendering skills are required.
Project types include commercial, hospitality, and single and multi-family residential architecture.

WHAT YOU BRING:
• Design leadership experience on projects of multiple types.
• Strong background in Architecture and Art
• (7) or more years of experience working in a fast-paced office environment.
• A degree in Architecture or a related field.
• On track for licensure as an Architect or Interior Designer (ideal, but not required).
• Developing drawings both by hand and using Revit and computer rendering programs.
• An understanding of construction techniques and systems.
